Sue Nami Shoes

The Sue Nami shoe predates the inception of Liminal, before I ever had the idea of creating the project. Inspired by the legally-questionable but conceptually-incredible creations of Imran Potato and Ari Saal Forman, I decided that I wanted to create my own sneaker. After months of research, I discovered a manufacturer who was willing to work with me in creating a sample pair of sneakers. I sent this new found knowledge to Zoltron, which led to our collaboration based off of one of his signature characters, Sue Nami.Although there was only one sample pair made, and I may have scuffed the delicate florescent yellow suede on the first wear, there is certainly more to come from this collaboration in the future.
