Sun Head T-shirt

Sun Head is a post-punk duo consisting of founding members Hixon and Oliver John. The band was formed in Fairfax, CA. With the release of their debut album ‘The Crystal’, they have created quite the stir with their energized concerts and enigmatic listening events.
I began working with the band in 2022 to create merch for their upcoming invite-only listening party that would be taking place at Revolution 9 in Fairfax, CA. After many variations, we decided on the tri-colored t-shirt design that we have today. The graphic was created by band member Hixon on linocut print. The color scheme was meant to mimic the visuals of the music video for their lead single, Marblehead.
